David was born in Wilmington, NC. He now lives and works in Charleston, SC.
He has been making commercial and personal photographs for more than fifty years. He approaches photography as a documenter and story teller. Though his photography has spanned a broad range of subject matter, David's work has always had a graphic style: structured, clean, and simple. As a visual communicator he creates images that tell a story or invite a story to be imagined.
